Terms of Service

1. Who we are

rankrise.gg is a coaching service operated by MERIDEVO PTE. LTD. (UEN 202630503K), a company incorporated in Singapore. In these Terms, "rankrise", "we", "us" and "our" mean MERIDEVO PTE. LTD. "You" means the person using the service, whether as a student or a coach.

We provide skill-based coaching in competitive gaming. When you book a session, your contract is with Meridevo. We are responsible for delivering the service you paid for. We engage vetted independent contractors ("coaches") to deliver sessions on our behalf; they are our suppliers, not your counterparty.

2. What we permit and prohibit

rankrise provides white-services coaching only: teaching, advice, review, and practice. We strictly prohibit account sharing, "piloting" or boosting (a coach playing on a student's account), the sale or transfer of accounts, guaranteed-rank or guaranteed-win offers, and any activity that breaches a game publisher's terms of service. In coached duo sessions the coach plays on their own account while you play on yours and are present in the session. Bookings or listings that breach this section may be removed and the account suspended.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Bookings and payments

Prices are shown before checkout and are the total you pay; there is no separate booking fee or service charge added at checkout. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe; by completing a purchase you also agree to Stripe's applicable terms.

You pay Meridevo for the session. Meridevo is the seller and is responsible for delivery of the service, for refunds, and for handling disputes directly with you. Meridevo pays its coaches for their work under the coaching terms each coach accepts before they can take bookings; those terms are between us and the coach, and they do not affect what you pay or what you are owed.

5. Consumer rights and right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)

If you are a consumer resident in the EU or the UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. For coaching services this right is subject to the exceptions in Article 16 of Directive 2011/83/EU as implemented in your country: in particular, where you have expressly requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed, the right no longer applies once the session has been delivered. 6. Coaches

Coaches deliver sessions for Meridevo as independent contractors. They are not our employees, and they are responsible for their own taxes on the fees we pay them. Coaches do not contract with students and do not collect payment from students. A coach sets the rate for their own packages; Meridevo lists that rate as the price it sells the session at, and pays the coach that rate less Meridevo's margin.

7. Conduct and content

You agree not to misuse the service, harass other users, or post unlawful content. Students and coaches introduced through rankrise agree not to arrange or settle rankrise sessions outside the service. We may remove content and suspend accounts that breach these Terms.

8. Liability

We are responsible for delivering the coaching service you booked. If a session is not delivered, or the service materially fails to match its description, you are entitled to a remedy under our Refund Policy and under applicable consumer law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for outcomes we do not promise — coaching improves skill, and we do not guarantee any rank, win, or competitive result. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory consumer rights.

9. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or where required by law. You may close your account at any time from account settings.

10. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Where you are a consumer, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there where the law allows.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
